The Lord reigns!… Let the earth Shake!
The reason i love this verse is because it goes right along with the ‘theme’ of the last few months of 2009 and 2010 for me!
Going into High School represents a lot of changes in my life. People who i love are leaving, my family and i have to start thinking about whether we’re going to stay or go and every one is just growing up and changing!
The Lord’s being speaking to me a lot and one thing that He’s stressed is that he has a plan for me. (Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans i have you, Declares the Lord, they are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.)
He’s told me to 1. understand and accept that, and 2. trust that, to look to that for hope and guidance.
Knowing that everything that comes and happens, is going to work out for good (Romans 8:28 For we know that God causes everything to work together for good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.) is a good thing to have in mind!
Like King David said, The Lord reigns! Let the earth shake!
No matter if the earth shakes and falls, if I/we love the Lord and live for him, it’s going to work out=P
